New Trailer for James Franco’s Latest Film, The Broken Tower.

James Franco (127 Hours, Milk) has certainly been busy recently. According to Imdb, he has at least nine roles coming up in the next few years. In addition, he recently published a short story collection called Palo Alto: Stories and has directed two short films. If that was not enough, he wrote, directed, and starred in a film called The Broken Tower, which is now available on VOD and digital platforms. It will be released on DVD as well on March 27. Here’s a short synopsis for the film:

The Broken Tower, from writer and director James Franco. Hart Crane was one of the most important voices in American poetry – but lived a life with as much turmoil as passion. From his early life to his journeys from New York, Cuba, and Paris, Crane’s story and that of the loves that defined him is told with imaginative empathy, and with a no holds barred performance – in a film as introspective, rebellious, heartbreaking, and honest as Crane himself.

The film also features Michael Shannon (Vanilla Sky, Take Shelter) and Dave Franco (Superbad, Fright Night). Check out the first trailer below.
