Harrison Ford Not to Appear in Blade Runner

No Deckard

Rumors were circulating the internet last week that Harrison Ford was to be part of the new Blade Runner film. However, Alcon Entertainment has stepped in to deny such rumors. Alcon stated that the film is only in the development stages, and that it is “highly unlikely” that the film is going to develop to where Ford would have to reprise his iconic role.

Prometheus producer Andrew Kosove spoke about the rumor, stating that “It is absolutely patently false that there has been any discussion about Harrison Ford being in Blade Runner… To be clear, what we are trying to do with Ridley now is go through the painstaking process of trying to break the back of the story, figure out the direction we’re going to take the movie and find a writer to work on it
