Helen Mirren looking to play Hitchcock’s wife

It has been reported that Helen Mirren (The Queen) is likely to join the cast of Sacha Gervasi‘s (Anvil! The Story of Anvil) Alfred Hitchcock and the Making of Psycho.

The film, which is being adapted from the Stephen Rebello non-fiction book, is about the financial struggle that Hitchcock went through to create his now-classic horror film. The film will particularly focus on Hitchcock’s relationship with his wife Alama Reville. Anthony Hopkins (The Silence of the Lambs) is set to play Hitchcock, where as Mirren is looking to play Reville.
