James Cameron Unveils Titanic 3D Footage

Written by Nick Workman November 01, 2011

James Cameron (Avatar, Terminator 2) has unveiled eighteen minutes of footage from the upcoming 3D conversion of Titanic.

Though in the past, Cameron has spoken out against converting 2D films into 3D, he said, in relation to Titanic, that he “totally believe(s) 3D is an enhancement for the dramatic scenes — not just the big action.” Also adding that “There are certain films that [warrant] being brought back to the theater… There is a whole generation of people who haven’t seen it at all.”

The film is slated to be released by Paramount April 6th, 2012
