Written by Nick Workman November 24, 2011

The remake of Red Dawn has finally been given a release date, November 2, 2012.

The film has haf numerous set backs ever since it finished shooting in 2009. The film met financial problems at MGM, putting the release on hold. The film then had to be re-edited, changing the invading paratroopers from Chinese to North Koreans in order to appear more friendly to the international market.

Dan Bradley directed the remake, which features Chris Hemsworth (The Avengers) Josh Peck (Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs), and Jeffery Dean Morgan (Watchmen).
