RoboCop Joins Star Trek Sequel

RoboCop to Boldly Go Where No RoboCop Has Gone Before

Peter Weller, best known for his role as RoboCop, has joined the cast of the upcoming sequel to J.J. Abrams (Super 8) Star Trek. No announcement has been made on what the role is.

Besides the original cast returning, Benicio Del Toro (The Wolfman) has also been added to the cast, where he will play the main villain. Whether Del Toro will be playing a villain from the original series or a new character has not been revealed.

The film is once again being directed by Abrams, and is expected to be released May 17th, 2013.
