Drew Barrymore and John Kransinski (The Office, License to Wed) will be starring alongside one another in Universal Pictures’ new film, Big Miracle. Inspired by a true story, Big Miracle follows the lives of Adam Carlson, a small town news reporter (John Krasinski) and Rachel Kramer, a GreenPeace volunteer (Drew Barrymore) who team up in an adventurous rescue mission to save grey whales trapped in rapidly forming ice in the Arctic circle. Directed by Ken Kwapis (The Office, He’s Just Not That Into You), the story takes you into the heart of a passionate rescue mission and the political boundaries that stand in the way.
The film will be released in theatres February 3rd, 2012
