The Stand Hires a Writer

Written by Nick Workman January 19, 2012

Stephen King adaptation moves forward

The upcoming Ben Affleck adaptation of Stephen King‘s The Stand has hired David Kajganich to write the script. Kajganich is best known for his work on The Invasion and Town Creek. Before being hired to write The Stand, he was working on IT, which is also based off of a Stephen King novel.

No news as to when Warner Bros. plans on releasing The Stand, but if the writer has only just been hired, it can be expected to be quite sometime.
