Matthew Randazzo’s Book Ring of Hell To Be Adapted To Film

In his book, Ring of Hell: The Story of Chris Benoit and the Fall of the Pro Wrestling Industry, Matthew Randazzo provides a biography of the late wrestler, who’s life ended in tragedy, and discusses the state of modern professional wrestling. SRG Films recently announced that they will be adapting Randazzo’s novel into a film, aptly named Crossface.

Dale Alexander Carnegie, head of SRG Films, is producing the film and Sarah Coulter is the film’s writer.

The story of Chris Benoit is one that Coulter feels needs to be brought into the light, for people immediately point to steroids, never thinking about the brain trauma these wrestlers can, and do, incur in their profession…

SRG plans to start filming in the fall of 2012.
