Screening Room presents: “Godspeed” by Kevin Tuck

A lonely, ruthless hermit, wanted for an ongoing string of murders, recounts his life in the solitude of the wilderness as he is stalked by a group of bounty hunters.

About the Filmmaking:

My name is Kevin Tuck, I was born and raised in London Ontario, and ever since I was three years old, I’ve wanted to be a director. I can blame Jurassic Park for that. For some reason, the prospect of creating something seemingly tangible that I could never otherwise see or experience really struck me as a kid, and since then I’ve never really considered doing anything else. I spent my highschool years making little movies with my friends, and afterwards I took Advanced Filmmaking at Fanshawe, which I loved. Some of my favourite movies include 2001: A Space Odyssey, The New World, M, Taxi Driver, Leolo, The Insider, Apocalypse Now, The Wild Bunch, Once Upon a Time in the West, The Proposition, and The Assassination of Jesse James. Favourite directors include Martin Scorsese, Terrence Malick, Michael Mann, Billy Wilder, Sergio Leone, Paul Thomas Anderson, Fritz Lang, and (of course) Quentin Tarantino.
